King strength METUCHEN

My appreciation for King (Metuchen) runs deep! I made a decision to take care of myself earlier this year in a way that’s intentional. As a mental health therapist and a new mom, I needed something that would help me tune into myself + engage socially + and keep up with my growing baby. King is all of these and more! I have gained a level of strength and endurance that I never thought possible. I met the bestest people — members and coaches alike!! Shout out to Abby, Denise, and more so Eric (I’ve taken most classes with him) for the technical feedback, individualized adjustments, and encouragement that always make me feel supported and safe at every workout. RESPECT to Gerrick and his leadership team for the work that they do to make King not only a gym but a source of inspiration for people to make fitness a lifestyle.

I've had about 12 semi-private trainings with Abby/Eric and just booked for the rest of July! The workouts, based on your initial assessment and progress, are posted on an app prior to your session. Great for those with AM brain mush. The trainers/coaches are knowledgeable, attentive, and personable. The gym feels like a community, not your usual Planet Fitness. Equipment is organized, space is clean.. the members here are so friendly and encouraging! Not only am I feeling better physically and mentally, but I'm learning more about myself and my body. 11/10 would recommend.

Join now!! I am a breast cancer survivor and have limitations to my workouts due to surgeries during my treatments. I initially thought I would never be able to join a gym with group training again, and then I found KING. To say they care about you, your health and progress is an understatement. I started with their classes in September and can now lift 3xs the amount I started with and on top of that I keep improving with functionality & conditioning. My body also feels stronger and fresher with daily activities. The staff is amazing, Abby, Tbone, Denise, Eric, Gerrick, etc are not your normal coaches. They make me excited to go to class and learn from them while having a fun time. I honestly cant say enough good things about this gym & my new chosen fam.

Highly recommend. Been a regular since Jan 2022 and could only sing praises for this place. Each month the Kings come up with a challenging and fun program that lets you test your strength. mobility and technique that want you to remain consistent with it. its NOT about how much you sweat here. Trainers are all A+ who bring their own color to the gym and focus on your overall performance, tips and some game changing techniques - very impressive! (I was surprised when one of them remembered exactly how much I benched last week lol). Pro tip: Spare a few extra $ for the merch lol. they have one of the coolest sweats and tees.
